The ongoing saga of “Assassin’s Creed” will be heading to Egypt later this year, and Ubisoft wants players to get an early taste of the environments, the stories and the vision for “Assassin’s Creed Origins” in four new publications.

A novel, a comic miniseries, an art book, and an official guide will let players deepen their knowledge of the game and lore before the new title comes out in the fall. They will dive into the history of the life of a young assassin, more about the Assassin’s Order, showcase the characters and landscapes, and guide players through the intricacies of “Assassin’s Creed Origins.”

“Assassin’s Creed Origins: Desert Oath” is a novel that will take place before the game. It portrays a young Bayek following in his father’s footsteps and searching for answers.

A miniseries of four official “Assassin’s Creed Origins” comics will explore the first years of the Assassins’ Order. It will showcase new characters as well as notable historical figures of the legendary group.

The “Art of Assassin’s Creed Origins” is an art book that will transport readers back into Ancient Egypt, one of the most mysterious places in history. Readers discover its secrets and forgotten myths and learn more about the characters, enemies, and weapons in the game.

Concept sketches, city plans, character studies, and fully rendered paintings will also showcase the amazing landscapes and environments in the game.

The Complete Official Guide could be an indispensable tool for dedicated players. The book contains a general weapons and equipment guide and a 100 percent completion walkthrough along with detailed maps flagged with all locations, collectibles and targets.

“Assassin’s Creed Origins” will be available worldwide on Oct. 27 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
